I love the Tate Modern on London’s South Bank – full of some amazing exhibitions and one of the hottest right now is Olafur Eliasson’s In Real Life.
Before we headed in we decided to grab a Holland & Barratt lunch time meal deal.
Vegan or Vegetarian
Holland & Barratt launched their meal deal earlier this year, it’s £3.99 where everything is either vegan or vegetarian.

The range includes plant-based options from brands including Deliciously Ella, Vita Coco, Hippeas and Captain Kombucha.
It includes veggie sandwiches, wraps and salads; gut-friendly probiotic yoghurts, and a selection of nutritious ‘health pots’ (such as the bulgur wheat and kale tabbouleh bowl).
I went for a Tofurky sandwich, Kings Veggie Jerky and Coco Fuzion 100 Natural Sparkling Coconut Water with Mango.
Vegetarian Food at the Tate Modern
Elisson’s arts studio in Berlin includes ‘The Kitchen’ – the food they serve is organic and vegetarian, frequently vegan, sourced mostly within a 10km radius of Berlin.
During the exhibition the Tate Modern Terrace bar will be transformed by artworks and lamps designed by Eliasson. The menu will reflect the lunch served at The Kitchen in Berlin.
The teams at SOE Kitchen and Tate Eats have worked together to develop a series of vegetarian dishes made from sustainable, seasonal, mostly organic ingredients.
The gift shop is also stocking sustainable gifts and veggie cookbooks.

The exhibition itself is amazing – inspired by nature it requires you to actively take part in the artworks and experiences.
Combined with the veggie eating options this makes a great London day out!
