Vegan Finds on a Thames Path Walk

I love a good walk and a new stretch of the Thames path has opened up near Old Isleworth, West London. The sun was shining so we decided to check it out and along the way we discovered some great vegan products!

As the sun shone a priority was getting an ice lolly! This Lickalix lolly caught my eye in the ice cream van window. Lickalix lollies are vegan, use all natural organic ingredients and the packaging is plastic free and compostable. It was delicious with very natural flavours and I’ll definitely be buying again.

Halfway through our walk we popped into Richmond and into a bookshop where we spotted Jamie Oliver’s new book – Veg.

The recipes look pretty good and it features nice photography, I’ll be asking for this one as a birthday present! Get the new book for half price at Amazon – https://amzn.to/2NBHbnc

While wandering past restaurant Leon I noticed a new vegan offering – Vegan Jack Wings – cheesy vegan jackfruit nuggets in a gluten-free crumb. These are now on my to try list!

But this time we decided to grab food at Itsu and I discovered that they serve their noodles in nice ceramic bowls after 5pm!

I went for Veggie Gyoza Udon soup noodles which is made up of 5 steamed veg gyoza, noodles, seasonal greens and thai spiced veggie broth. Tasty, 455 calories and great value too.

As the sun started to set we continued down the Thames path to Twickenham excited about all the great new vegan finds 🙂

If you fancy walking down the Thames path you should take a look at this guide from Tfl.gov.uk which shows the path we took.

FYI – This page contains an affiliate link which means I would receive a very small percentage of sales from anyone making a purchase (this costs you nothing). And of course this never influences my editorial.
